CV Show Review
Major interest was shown in our stand at the recent CV show at the NEC in Birmingham. The main interest was the ‘FS1’ curtainsider with its fuel saving capability an obvious eye opener for haulage companies in today’s spiralling fuel costs.
The various deck configurations available also proved to be popular giving flexibility on pallet heights and load lengths and with current SDC customers asking for retro fitted ‘FSI’ bodies even the refurbishment business at SDC will benefit from the new design. The supermarket trolley cage retention system fitted in the Stobart curtainsider was put through its paces in terms of question by haulers pulling for the best known names in British supermarkets with the ability to stow the retention bars again giving flexibility of operation.
2006 was also the first time SDC Parts & Services attended the CV Show in a strong capacity demonstrating that SDC offers the complete package.
