SDC Trailers are designed and built to provide operators with years of trouble-free and reliable service.
This manual will provide you with a clear and concise schedule for the required maintenance of your new SDC Curtainsider Trailer.
By following this schedule the working life of the trailer will be long and safe.


TORQUE SETTINGS

The SDC Curtainsider body is a bolt on assembly consisting of front and rear frames and a sliding or fixed roof. These main items are assembled with a series of bolts. These fixings need to be checked periodically, it is recommended they are checked every 3 months or 12500km or if any main structural item is damaged.

The torque settings for bolts are:
12mm - 125Nm
  16mm - 295Nm

SLIDING ROOF
The roof should be fully opened and closed. Any excessive effort required should be investigated and rectified immediately. Check all bearings are in good condition.

The Torque Settings for the roof bolts are:
M6 - 16Nm
  M8 - 30Nm

Check load restraints / buckles / rollers / tracks - if damaged or worn, replace immediately.
