SDC Trailers update on COVID-19

Dear Customers, Suppliers, and Colleagues,

In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, I want to reassure you that while we have had to implement changes to our daily practices, our customer service remains unaffected. We are following guidance issued by the Government and taking appropriate measures for the safety of our customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Our society does not function without the vital services provided by the road haulage and logistics industry, and now more than ever our customers are being called upon to deliver essentials such as food and medical items. Please be assured that SDC is 100% committed to supporting our customers during this time as we all navigate through a challenging situation.

At present, we continue to deliver all services as normal at SDC’s trailer production facilities, repair centres and parts branches. We have a number of precautionary measures in place to allow for this to happen; we have suspended business travel and reduced direct contact by opting for email, phone and online video conferencing.

At our trailer production facilities, our health and safety personnel are working closely with employees to ensure our safeguarding policy is followed in line with public health guidelines. In addition to this, we have put a robust continuity plan in place, and we have increased our stock levels across all departments to minimise disruption to our services.
