Established in 1978, SDC operated from a small shed in Bellaghy. It has grown from a one man operation to be the UK and Ireland's largest semi-trailer manufacturer. We now have four manufacturing plants, based in Toomebridge, Magherafelt, Antrim and Mansfield.
SDC supply trailers to a wide range of companies and have built relationships with the industry’s leading logistics operators, supermarket chains and hire companies including TIP Trailer Services, Hireco Trailer Rental, Ryder and Trailer Resources Ltd.

SDC have four modern and efficient manufacturing facilities, which are among the most modern in Europe and fully accredited to ISO 9001/2000. SDC’s 600,000 sq ft production space is home to the entire trailer manufacturing process, which allows us to maintain direct control over the product and develop trailer solutions based on your specific transport requirements. Our dedicated business areas offer the complete package from bespoke manufacturing to finance, spare parts and servicing.

SDC Truck & Trailer Parts is a subsidiary of SDC, providing the complete package to keep your operation on the road. Since opening our first branch at our headquarters in Toomebridge, we have transformed the parts industry.
Today, we have 9 branches in central locations and 32 vehicles on the road daily, ensuring customer downtime is kept to a minimum. An extensive portfolio that contains over 16,000 different Truck and Trailer Parts reflects our commitment to being the One-Stop-Shop for all your Commercial Vehicle Parts requirements.
