BS Trailer Services £2million fleet investment with SDC

Leasing and hire company BS Trailer Services have continued their business relationship with semi-trailer manufacturer SDC, by placing a £2million order for new equipment as part of the company’s ongoing fleet replacement programme. The deal was struck between BS Trailers Managing Director, Oliver Moore and SDC’s UK Sales Manager, Matt Kerrison in January this year.

The order includes SDC’s EN-XL rated Freespan straight-frame Curtainsiders in various overall heights to suit BS Trailer’s bespoke specification, and double deck Curtainsiders featuring a Pallet Network specification with fuel-saving roof, steel mesh second decks and wrap-around rear curtains, as well as BS Trailer’s own additions for maximum safety and performance.

We opted for the Freespan Curtainsider model with clear aperture and easy-roll curtain-rail technology for enhanced efficiency, safety and productivity.”

The new Curtainsiders will be delivered BS Trailers Head Office in Leighton Buzzard throughout 2020 and will make up part of their 2,000 strong trailer fleet. In addition to leasing, hire and sales, B.S. Trailers provide 24-hour fleet management and fleet maintenance packages.
