Forterra collaborates with SDC Trailers on 40 New Brick-Spec Platform Trailers

Forterra, a leading manufacturer of building products in the UK, has recently expanded its fleet through a collaboration with SDC, the UK and Ireland's largest semi-trailer manufacturer. Forterra worked closely with the manufacturer to develop a cutting-edge Twin Tridec Rear Steer design for the order of 40 new Platform trailers. The strategic move is set to revolutionise Forterra's logistics capabilities, thanks to the robust and versatile features offered by these trailers.

Forterra's new fleet of Twin Tridec Rear Steer Platform Trailers boast an impressive array of features designed to enhance performance and safety. Some of the standout features include roll stability braking, steel flooring, strobe LED lighting, safety beacons, auto-greaser, GRP toolbox and cone storage, auto-reset raise and lower valve suspension, as well as the provision for a roll-along crane. The detailed specification makes the new trailers ideally suited to Forterra's requirements for transporting building products safely and efficiently.
