Kersey Freight Ltd expand fleet with 60 new SDC Freespan Curtainsiders
Suffolk and Yorkshire-based haulier, Kersey Freight Limited, also known as ‘KFL’, has placed an order with Nottingham-based manufacturer SDC Trailers, for 60 new Freespan Curtainsiders. The first 10 trailers are already in service and will continue to be delivered over the coming weeks, allowing Kersey Freight to expand operations across the UK and into Europe.
The 4.5m Freespan Curtainsiders, known for their innovative design and superior performance, will provide Kersey Freight with increased capacity, improved efficiency, and enhanced safety features. The trailers feature an aerodynamic design providing better fuel economy, BPW Drum brakes, a Wisatrans floor with steel dump plates, painted sideguard infills, flush back doors, and additional toolbox storage.

Established over 40 years, Kersey Freight is a privately owned haulier with over 210 SDC Trailers in their fleet including standard and sliding-roof Curtainsiders, Boxvans, Flat and Skeletal trailers. Kersey Freight also provides transport of dangerous and hazardous goods including fertiliser and other specialist cargo. This latest order is a testament to the trust and partnership that exists between Kersey Freight and SDC.
