SDC Trailers Donate £5,000 to John Eastwood Hospice

SDC Trailers is proud to announce a £5,000 donation to the John Eastwood Hospice, a vital local organisation providing exceptional care and support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses.

The John Eastwood Hospice has long been a beacon of compassion and comfort for patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments. Their skilled team of healthcare professionals and volunteers offer tailored care that focuses on dignity, respect, and quality of life. From pain management and emotional support to guidance for families, their work ensures that individuals can live their final days in comfort and peace.

As part of their holistic approach, the hospice provides essential services such as bereavement counselling, therapies to ease physical and emotional distress, and respite care for families. Their commitment to treating every patient with unwavering compassion makes them an invaluable asset to the local community.

“Our employees generously donate a small part of their salary every month which in turn gets donated to a local charity at the end of the year” said Paul Bratton, Group President of SDC Trailers. “The John Eastwood Hospice provides a level of care and humanity that is truly remarkable, and we are honoured to contribute to their ongoing efforts”.

The £5,000 donation will help the hospice continue its critical work, funding resources that directly benefit patients and their families. Donations like this are vital to the hospice’s operations, as much of their funding comes from community support and charitable contributions.

SDC Trailers recognises the importance of standing by organisations that uplift and care for our community. By supporting the John Eastwood Hospice, we aim to shine a light on their extraordinary work and encourage others to get involved.

We invite others in the community to join us in supporting the John Eastwood Hospice. Whether through donations, volunteering or spreading awareness, there are countless ways to contribute to this remarkable cause. Together, we can help ensure that every individual in need of end-of-life care receives the compassion and support they deserve.
