Blair International Strengthen Fleet Capability with 10 New SDC Curtainsiders
SDC Trailers is proud to announce the delivery of ten newly built Curtainsider trailers to Blair International, a long-standing logistics specialist serving key routes across the UK and Ireland. The order reinforces a valued relationship between the two companies and highlights Blair International’s commitment to operating a safe, reliable and modern transport fleet.
Designed and manufactured at SDC’s state-of-the-art facility, the new trailers are built to meet Blair International’s requirements, ensuring durability, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across regional and international haulage operations.
Built to a 4.25-metre height, each trailer is equipped with a sliding roof that opens fully from both the front and rear, providing excellent accessibility for loading and unloading. The new EN 12642-XL rated Curtainsiders are supported by three 9-ton axles and incorporate key features such as a Safe Park braking system, automatic slack adjusters, wooden planks, ISO-Reg electrics and LED lighting. Additional practical elements include steel-reinforced flooring, a galvanised pull-out step, full-height rear doors with spring retainers and roller buffers for added protection.

Blair International operates a diverse and modern fleet of refrigerated and dry-freight tractor–trailer combinations, maintained in-house at its purpose-built workshop.
