SDC’s fixed design skeletal is renowned for its rugged construction. Our fixed skeletal has a range of configurations, dependent on the operator’s needs.
When carrying a 45’ a pull out galvanized coupling assembly is fitted to protect the suzies and aid the driver, as well as a pull out galvanized crashbar to protect other road users.

Robust design with no moving parts
SDC fixed skeletal trailers has been designed with no moving parts, ensuring maximum reliability and longevity with minimum maintenance costs.

Design configuration
SDC’s skeletal trailer can be configured for specific container combinations, minimizing the unladen weight. Can be configured individually for: 20h, 30', 40', 45', 2x20' or any combination of all of these containers.

Lightweight design
The lightweight design of SDC's fixed skeletal trailer allows for increased payload, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and better economic returns for the customer.

Twist Lock options
Available with handle or screw type twist locks, and can also be specified to meet ADR requirements

Galvanized pull out coupling / crashbar
To enable the trailer to legally carry a 45ft container, it is fitted with a galvanized pull out crashbar. For ease of operator use, a pull out galvanized coupling is also supplied.
