Step Frame Platform
SDC’s Step Frame Platform is designed with a lower bed height ensuring it can transport high loads. The lower bed length also reduces the centre of gravity, therefore, increasing stability. For European operations where there are height restrictions, the step frame platform is ideal to transport the load and meet height restrictions. SDC's Step Frame Platform is well known for its strong design and longevity.

Key Features
Lower bed length for high loads
This trailer has been designed with both 19.5 and 17.5 wheel options to reduce deck height, ensuring better accessibility for the operator and offering a lower centre of gravity. This also allows the movement of higher loads than a standard trailer.
ENXL headboard option
Our EN 12642 XL rated platform headboard has been independently assessed to confirm the structural strength for heavy duty applications. This is approved to EU standards.
Pins and sockets
Pins and sockets are a form of load restraint ensuring safety of goods during transport. A centre spine option is available for transporting roof trusses.
Heavy Duty Deckrings
Designed to strap down heavy loads and ensure safety of transporting cargo.
Twistlocks
SDC's step-frame platform trailer can be fitted with twist locks to carry the full range of ISO containers. A container support bunk can be used to level the decks between the front and rear deck.
Storage options
There is a range of storage options available with this trailer, including mesh storage, skid storage, pins storage, spare wheel carriers, fireboxes and various toolbox sizes both plastic and stainless steel.
