SDC Trailers, based in Toomebridge Northern Ireland have stepped up their export drive through the appointment of a highly experienced new International Sales Manager.

John Megarry joined SDC Trailers recently with the remit of implementing the ambitious SDC Trailer Export Sales Strategy. John is hugely experienced, having worked for over 13 years in various commercial roles. He began his career in the automotive industry, before moving into management by representing the UK’s market leading telematics and fleet management provider for over 3 years.

John then spent four years at Terex Powerscreen, becoming Territory Manager for Africa, Central Asia and Southern Europe. This role, involving extensive travel, developed his international and dealer management experience and established John as an experienced international sales manager.

He says that he feels excited to be taking on the new challenge at SDC,

"I’m delighted to be able to use the experience and contacts I’ve gained over the years working across the world. Now having the opportunity to help roll out SDC’s ambitious export plans is exciting, and we are already seeing some notable successes.
